Any one have the 1.6 rockers and the 252H camshaft in their stock V6 engines? If so, how do you like it and how much of a difference did it make?

I have the same cam with 1.52 crane roller lifters and I can't say I feel any difference over the stock one.

Are you running the stock upper intake manifold?

Yes, I am running the stock intake. I did have some port work done on the heads as well.

I won't say there is no performance gain, but it is minimal. I have forget pistons in it as well hoping to do a turbo build here shortly. What are you looking for with the cam upgrade?

http://www.compcams.com/Com...ls.aspx?csid=56&sb=0

Looking at the specs, it doesn't provide much over stock with 1.52's and has a short duration...
.430" lift with 1.52'a and better with 1.6's at almost .453"
500-4500 rpm range - YIKES!

The 260H is better with a 1000-5000 rpm range and .293" lobe life before rocker multipliers vs. the 252H's .283"

Crane and Engle make better cams for our V6...

If I went with the 262 cam could I still use the 1.6 rockers or would I run into valve clearance issues?

We were discussing 1.6s a while back.
Check out this thread toward the middle / bottom...

The heads in stock form with flat top pistons support .510" with the stock gasket.
However, I don't think the stock springs support much over .450" so the Crane "double" springs are also recommended. The Fiero Store sells them.
