So I recently purchased an 88 formula with a 3800SCII swap. The swap was done 3ish years ago and has been running fine. I found a coolant leak due to a hose that was slightly not long enough to handle the stretching from engine vibration. It comes out of the water pump and goes towards the firewall, where I lose track of exactly where it goes. This may not be the way all swaps are done, I don't know. Anyway, I replaced the offending section with a longer one, but I wasn't able to figure out how to fill it before putting it on (any time I added coolant, it came right out the other pipe). So I'm worried I have an air pocket in my system. I want to avoid overheating the car for obvious reasons. I'm used to the stock way of burping the system, but I don't know if that works in this case. Can someone with some experience tell me the proper procedure? Thanks

depends on your swap.
Some have a fill location that looks like the raditor cap near the TB (old fiero filler) towards the firewall.

others have added a raditor flush "T" connector by the front LIM, comes with a nice little cap on it.

So one of those should be in the eng compartment.

IF NOT, you can take off the incoming hose and fill it and quickly put it back on.

Then burp as normal.
