So I recently purchased an 88 formula with a 3800SCII swap. The swap was done 3ish years ago and has been running fine. I found a coolant leak due to a hose that was slightly not long enough to handle the stretching from engine vibration. It comes out of the water pump and goes towards the firewall, where I lose track of exactly where it goes. This may not be the way all swaps are done, I don't know. Anyway, I replaced the offending section with a longer one, but I wasn't able to figure out how to fill it before putting it on (any time I added coolant, it came right out the other pipe). So I'm worried I have an air pocket in my system. I want to avoid overheating the car for obvious reasons. I'm used to the stock way of burping the system, but I don't know if that works in this case. Can someone with some experience tell me the proper procedure? Thanks
