I have someone offering me a small block Chevy and a fiero tranny in a not so good looking body and I was just wondering, since I'm going to be taking it out anyways, if I could put the transmission in any other caR besides a Fiero. I mean I love Fieros but there are no chassis around for me to put them into.

You could technically put it into any FWD car, but the shift mechanism on the Fiero transmissions is designed to have the cables coming from the front side, instead of the rear. Could also be used in an MR2 or Lotus (or other transverse mid-engined car) if you really wanted to, as well.

The idea of a 350 and a 282 in a Lotus Elise - just to mess with people - is fantastic. A+

There was a guy that installed a 2.8l fiero engine and trans into a real Ferrari 308. I had a good laugh. Keep looking for a good fiero. They are cheap and easy to find here
