I have a fresh rebuilt crossmember to put in my 88GT. Studying up on what the process will be to remove and replace. None of the threads I've seen discuss exactly what to do with the radiator pipes which are bracketed to the bottom of the crossmember. Do these pipes have to be completely removed which would mean draining the cooling system? I just replaced a failed water pump a couple of months ago, wish I'd had the time to do the crossmember then.
