Thought my battery was done, turns out it's my alternator. Took off the rear passenger wheel and doesn't seem like I can remove it from there without disconnecting the break line wich I don't feel comfortable doing and can't afford to walk another three miles to get another part.
Is there a step by step direction?
Anyone in the Seattle atea want to come help me with this?

1986 SE with 88gt alternator wiring swap.

Piece of cake. Remove the usual bolts top & bottom and the harness connections. There's a certain angle you have to hold the alt and it will come out the bottom. It looks impossible but it will work. I don't remember if I had to loosen the alt bracket or remove it.

Some years ago a forum member was fighting for hours to get his out and finally he gave up and let go of it and it fell straight to the ground.
