Just learning that all the ignition parts are different and had to order everything as opposed to being able to pick them up next day

What else is different that could be troublesome and should be taken care of now?

If you have AC your heater hoses will have to come from Rodney. And the 84 electrical system is different. The axle shafts are 84 only too, I found that out the hard way.

Could you elaborate on this? Rockauto shows the same part numbers for 84 axle shafts as for other years.

For auto they interchange, the 4 speeds are 84 only.
