I am trying to install a 2000 Montana van radio into my 88 Fiero. I finally located two harness adapters that will connect the two. The old plug was left in the radio with cut off wires. (Too short to use) The problem is, the wire colors don't match the ones in the new plug, and after hours of searching, I have not found a wiring diagram that matches the original either. This is a 24 pin connecter with 4 positions not used. Does anyone know which colors or positions are for which functions? Speaker connections are pretty obvious. Thanks for any help.

Thanks. Problem is, I have only one gray wire, two orange wires, a pink, brown/white, two black/white, one yellow, and one gray/black. Must be some alternate colors. The speaker wires appear to be the same. Thanks.

How will the Montana radio in a Fiero get past the class 2 data signal requirement?

We all want to know this minor detail.
