I am in the process of installing the oem subwoofer system into my 88 gt.
I have gone the complete installation process by taking the dash and gauges all out.
I got to tell you I'm just hoping I remember how to put everything back...Anyways
I have gotten my subwoofer speaker into place and a couple questions. Does the left slanted
bracket where the chime is go on top of or underneath the bracket and the same question for the bracket
to the outside... and what screws or bolts to use? there's more than 1 hole, a large and small one
on both brackets...any help would be very appreciated..

My dash is currently apart, sub-woofer was out... just tacked in place to take a photo ( I left the Screws loose )
the brackets on the speakers mount to the bottom of the ones in the vehical, The large hole on the RH side is for a larger screw that screws into the dash when its in place....

Left side

Right side ( easier if the courtesy light is removed to get the screw in)

Hope this helps

Hey, thanks for the reply...I think I now know which way to put in.
Sorry, but your pictures didn't show up though...I do know now
what your talking about with when I put the dash back on there is the
lower bolt/screw to on each side. Also I have found out that my headliner
is crumbling apart as I had to pull it back to get to the overhead/inside middle
console. I figure this would be a good time to also put in a new headliner.
Anybody know the best place to get a headliner? I know they have them
at the Fiero store. I have a sunroof but am not sure it's original so not sure
which way to go...any more help is appreciated...
