Im thinking of installing a tow hook in the front of my 86 gt. Is there anybody who have done this?

I'm assuming you are racing the car to need a tow hook.
We have done this a few times on cars we race.
If you remove one of the turn signal lights you can anchor a hook or strap to the frame behind it.
May require a little fabrication but it's the best spot to locate one.
