ok I used the search function and ogres cave. I ordered what I thought was the passenger side front motor mount for my 3800sc engine swap, a guy is making a bracket for my new engine but it will be using the oem mount, so I need a number I found on ebay anchor 2548 does this item number sound familiar? it looks the same, the mount they sent me almost fits my trans mount I guess I can drill new holes to fit the new trans mount on the trans mount its just off half an inch no biggie but I still need the big mount that goes under the crankshaft can I just adapt another trans mount here?bty I have the 2,5 duke 87 fiero it has a dogbone trans mount and engine mount ...3 all together

Be aware that the front mount (under the passenger side - where the timing chain is located) is different between the auto and 5-speed. My driver is a 2.5 with a 5-speed and I took the front mount off of another '87 that had a 2.5 with an auto and the mounts (and mounting holes) are different. The holes are about an 1/2 inch closer together. It doesn't make sense to me that they would be different - they are at the opposite end of the motor (away from the tranny).

Good luck. Jimmy

This mount with the bolts sticking the same direction is the trans mount closest to the driver.

This mount with the bolts offset from each other is the trans mount mount closest to the trunk.

This mount is the front motor mount from a 2.8 that I used in my 3800 swap.

This I believe is the other motor mount (I've never worked with a 2.5 or really an auto so not sure)

How long have you had those mounts installed? I have heard they don't hold up.

I didn't use the duralast ones specifically I used anchor which is oriely brand at first but I switched to poly from rodney before anything went bad.

The only mount that will go bad in a short amount of time will be the trans mount nearest to the driver. There is quite alot of force applied to it and I broke 3 with my 200hp 3.4 I took out.
