Hello everyone, searched but didn't find a definite answer and I need to know for sure before I start my project. What size flare nut wrench do I need to remove the fittings that hold the fuel lines to the fuel rail (see pic below).

Thanks in advance for the info.

Hmmmm, no one yet?

I think they're both 16mm, or it could be a 16 and a 17. Its been awhile for me.

I just took some wrenches out and checked. The 15mm won't fit, the 17 is too big. I don't seem to have a 16mm, but 5/8" equals 15.88mm. I could check a 5/8", but without taking the plenum or anything else off it might not be fit.

5/8

I checked. 5/8" fits great. Now that you mention I wondered the same thing and tried the TFS lines when they were here. There's a reason it's hard to find 16mm wrenches - you're expected to use 5/8".

Makes sense.... Might be a standard (SAE) size rather than metric.

I didn't have a 16mm wrench either and had to buy it just for this task. Haven't needed it since!
