Help. im doing a 3800 swap in my 87 fiero as I started to remove the duke I noticed the "plug connector " that goes through the firewall is not a connector but a grommet that runs through can I just cut all the wires here? Im planning on making a special connector here which I thought was a plug to plug in my duke back incase my swap goes to hell and I can just simply plug back in my duke harness. I know theres another one passenger side Im not cutting this one cause its needed here and does not connect to my engine . the c500 just disconnects so no problem there. so ok to cut here? also I noticed my ac and fuel pump relay came off with the harness since im doing the hot mod fuel pump relay I don't need this and ill figure out the ac later

Do not cut the wires.
The driver-side pass-thru harness connects to the ECU, C-203 and ALDL.
Simply remove the connectors and pull the harness thru to the engine side.
Your new swap harness will connect to the PCM, C-203, and the OBDII ALDL.
