can someone answer a question for me? i took the lower side panel that is right in front of the real wheel off on the passenger side of my 88 gt. what i found in there is a steel tank tucked up under the upper fastback section. tank is factory and has 2 lines running to it. what is it? thanks

My guess, it's part of the fuel evap system. But what do I know......

thanks! found it when i was removing the lower panel for modification. was going to post pics, but cant figure that out either. the mod to the panel is going to be a air inlet scoop off of the front fender of a 1982 trans am. will work on trying to post pics of this mod when i i get pics taken.
