I fully understand the procedure for calibrating the sunbird turbo/tach gauge by hooking it up in parallel first to your existing tachometer before installation. I was just wondering why a person would not simply use their OBDII online diagnostics readout since I already have it with my 3800SC swaps? Wouldn't it be simpler and more accurate doing it this way? Any thoughts from the experts would be appreciated. Thanks, Curtis

I certainly can't think of a reason not to do it that way.
