After reading thru several threads on this topic, I couldn't seem to find exactly what I was looking for. Sorry if this has been explained!!
I've ordered a one piece tail light panel to replace my "jigsaw puzzle" stock lights. I'm trying to work out the wiring for using the round LED lights. The image I've attached shows the factory wiring on the top and the layout I'm hoping to use on the bottom. In between is my best guess for how to wire this thing. Any thought? Should this work? Or am I WAY off? Thanks in advance!

Looks about right. I just used the 2 existing bulbs and sockets on each side and left the others unplugged.
