I'm talking to 10,000 RPM about having a steel billet flywheel made for my 3.4 DOHC / F40 swap. Does anyone here have access to engineering drawings for the neutrally balanced 2.8 flywheel?

Billet steel flywheels here - you'd need the '88.

Thanks, guys. I'll give A.R.I. a call. Interesting about Andy's Autosport. I had no idea anyone made a steel flywheel for a 60*V6!

WCF also makes a billet steel flywheel for the 60V6 with the F40 transaxle. I have only seen heavyweight ones but it's worth asking about a lightweight if that's what you want. They have also made aluminum flywheels for the F40. I have one on my workbench right now for a 3800/NSX transaxle swap.

interesting about the billet FW. Jegs will price match to online pricing. It was actually easy to do, just provide the link and the price with shipping.
For me that was $257 shipped.

I may order one. I was going to order a billet LS1 and machine it down to fit inside the fiero bell housing. My machine shop already said they could redrill the flywheel for the LS4 pattern.

LS1 and LS4 have the same crankshaft pilot diameter and crankshaft pattern.

i know. I was talking about ordering the billet V6 FW and having the machine shop drill it to the LSx crank pattern.
Similar to the way Russ Fiero did. I'm not too keen on the idea of using a cast FW.
originally I thought about having a shop turn down a 168tooth LS1 FW to fit a fiero ring gear. then drill the fiero clutch pattern.

they're a supplier, not manufacturer. It's a Ram Clutches Flywheel. Part # 1570

But yes, that would be nice.

Well, that's what I'm talking about with 10000RPM. I hate the idea of a cobbled together or cast flywheel.
