i am looking at these wheels on ebay for my 88 gt, according to their compatibility chart, they will fit, i know nothing about wheels and have tried to include as much info from the auction as possible. can anyone offer their 2 cents or advice? thanks!

Yes, they'll fit. You'll find that they're going to look great in the front, but they'll be a couple millimeters more inset in the rear than stock wheels.

When I'm not autocrossing my '88 Formula (which is by far most of the time), I have 16x6 Sunfire rims on the car. The offset is exactly the same as the wheels you're interested in... 42mm. As Blooz has stated, this offset is perfect on the front of an '88. On the back I use a one inch spacer/adapter. Brings the rear wheels out to where they should be. Looks good.

Those wheels are nice... Do you know if they offer them in 17 inch versions?
