I tried to search this out and found nothing.
Is there a thread on this?
I saw a video a while back but it was in German and totally useless.
Any help?

Found some info on splitting the case but the bolt/cap on the bearing under the black seal is not coming loose.
Any thoughts?
is it a right or left hand thread?
Torque?
Holding the input shaft during the job?

It's the normal thread, Left to loosen. You need put the trans in gear and lock down the input shaft with a tool. Then you will need a 3 foot breaker bar and a lot of muscle. Its a ***** .
