Doing some prevenative maitenance on my car. Its an 86 V6 automatic GT. Where can I buy a quality neautral safety switch (automatic).I havent had time to call my local autoparts store yet.

should have them at O' reilly Auto parts. I installed one and you must make sure that you don't accidentally turn it wrong or it won't work .

The old, used NSS is probably better quality than any parts store replacement available today.
There is nothing really to wear out inside, clean it up to look new and reinstall.

The same switch was used on many many GM cars. I haven't seen quality problems with replacement neutral safety switches. They are reasonably priced also.
