Is there much difference between the LS1 TB and the N*? How hard is it to switch from one to the other? Is one better than the other?

I have a LS1 on a SC3800 (2000 GTP) and thinking out loud if I need to switch TB's to go to a Gen V and full stack intercooler. Or if current the current adapter for the LS1 will fit on the Gen V.

I cannot really tell you what which Throttle Valve is the best match but I am currently running a N* tv with a full stack IC on a 3800 SC Series III engine and it appears to work very well.

reading on the Grand Prix forum and looking at pics it's obvious my adapter won't work on a Gen V so matter of finding one for a LS1. appears that's not as easy as finding an adapter for the N * TB. sounds like either will work and the N * requires a bit more modification for me since I'm already set up with a LS1. A guy over there makes N * adapters for the Gen V.

Both are 75mm plates and have the same sensors and IAC valve. So as far as function is concerned they are the same. But the flanges will not be the same.

I used a a flange adapter for a N* on my 3500, and I'm running a 98 LS1 TB...

'93-'99 Northstars use a unique 4 bolt flange. '00 and newer use the same three bolt pattern as the LS1, BUT I don't know if the IAC and PCV passages are the same.

Pretty much what Ryan at sinister was saying. LS1 and the 00 and after northstars are very similar but not sure if they can be used interchangeably.
