Finishing up the 3800 swap and my evap. can is mounted in the stock location on the 84, which happens to be maybe 3 or 4 inches from the exhaust headers. I'm not sure if this will cause any issues since gas fumes are flammable or not.

I'd say either wrap it in insulation or wrap the headers.
