Second 4.9, first auto

Have 4.9 in car, realized shift cable is not just plug and play.....d'oh

Tried search, maybe using the wrong terms.

Need a how to using the caddy bracket, as the stock one is gone.

Please assist, pictures are awesome,

To use the 4T60e trans, the shift lever needs to be shortened, installed in reverse, and a shift cable bracket made from parts of the 4T60e and TH125 transmissions. Basically its the 4T60e bracket bottom (that's bolts on) with the Fiero cable holder portion welded on to it. I am away from home now but if no one responds with the info I can post it on Monday.

Will source a bracket (headed to PFF mall) and write up a how to when done.
