1986 2M4

Hi, I have a question about rims and I probably should know the answer.
Is this the type of rim that came on the Fiero's back in 1986?

They will fit - if they are from a sunbird - (have to watch the rear as the weights may hit the strut), but they are not exactly Fiero rims. The fiero rims look the same, but have a slight offset so as there is a 3/4"(?) step in from the bead part of the rim. This pushed the tires out a little. The sunbird rims are pretty much flush from the bead, across to the center.

Didn't realize that you could still buy them new.

They are most likey refurbished rims... I don't think you can get "new".

I have refinished 14" and 15" rims and have had first hand experience with sunbird rims as I didn't install them on my Fiero, but a friend did. And as I said, the inside weights hit a part of the strut.

More refinished/used rims: http://www.wheelcollision.com/po4.htm

(or look on ebay)
