I have an '88 GT with a V6 and 5-Spd Tranny.... Recently, I noticed some "feedback" through the clutch pedal when I depress it to shift gears (feels like a high frequency vibration), but the clutch does not "slip"... And, when shifting the gears, it seems to shift properly (no grinding, no difficulty shifting, no "strange" noises, etc.)... Any ideas about what is causing the "feedback" through the clutch pedal would be appreciated. Thanks!!

The 5-spd Getrags are known for a problem with the input shaft sleeve (or whatever it's called) breaking. Someone else with more info on this will chip in I'm sure.

This might be what you're feeling.

I thought they were all Getrage 282's
