I have an 86 GT that I have recently replaced the clutch on. I did this by removing the engine/cradle assembly. When I put everything back together, the engine stopped working. Before the clutch replacement the engine ran just fine. Now that it's all back together, the engine idles a little rough, then accelerates on its own, then dies. Any help would be wonderful as I am new to the Fiero world.

Any engine codes? Maybe you snapped a vacuum line.

While the engine is running the check engine light doesn't come on. Other than that , I'm not sure.

Use the ALDL to see if any are stored in the ECM. I had a similar issue and one of the vacuum lines broke where it ran underneath the upper intake, so I missed it on my first inspection of them.
