if anyone has a picture or can describe the way the lower tranny cable, the one to outside of car is supposed to be, it would be appreciated. I am talking from firewall to tranny. Second time doing this, should have taken a picture, thought I knew what I was doing. Here is how it is now. the lower one, how should that be routed, doesn't seem right(you can't see it in the picture, it is comes from under but is hitting the exhaust..

that thingamajig just to the right of upper cable, if the picture was better you could easily tell the vacuum line is broken, will car run without it? I can jury rig it, obviously I need a long term solution, but I'm wondering how important.

also you can't see it but the thingamajig on the exhaust, the connector broke, what is it, do I need it, where can I find another?

thingamajig= I bet you're wondering "this guy did a cradle drop, doesn't sound like he can find the dip stick"

I was just laid off, and am mentally exhausted cause I worked my but off to get something done right, and this was my reward. Doesn't seem right, but whatcha gonna do?
work on a car, that's what

the vac. line is the egr line. plastic line can be repaired with hose. Bad news, the egr tube appears broken (flexible metal part) I've not had to replace one, but it does not seem like a fun job. think rodney? sells one. maybe TFS too. there are a lot of members who have replaced a broken egr tube here. You will have problems if you don't fix it. start spraying the pb blaster.

Can't see your pic at work. My work computer blocks photobucket etc. but sounds like a Getrag 5-speed?

This is the revised cable routing for the Getrag transmission
