I bought an 86 Fiero SE 2.8L V6 last year as a project car and I am just getting around to finish it. The Radiator fan that it came with is broken and I was wondering what the best route to go would be.
-Should I buy an aftermarket one and put it in or do you think one out of a different car has more pulling/pushing power?
-And secondly, I was wondering if there are any fans in other cars that will mount and work good so I can just go to the junkyard and pull that part..

Wellcome to the forum. You can buy and replace the motor or is it more to it? Check your fan relay, the fan should turn on with the ac, let us know if it kicks on.

The motor is toast and for the cost of replacing the motor I figured I could get a new fan from the junkyard out of another type of vehicle.

If you want a good upgrade for your fan and car take a look at this thread:

https://www.fiero.nl/forum/F...124791.html#lastpost

About half way down it shows a fan upgrade that I think is one of the best.
If we can help here please ask away.
