Rodney has select cables advertised on his web page for use with the F40. My 5 sp shifter is set up for use with two getrag select cables. I have one that was on the car, but i still need one more to gear it up. Does anyone know if Rodney's will work for me with the F23? Anyone used them for this app?
I have not used Rodney's select cable in this specific application, but do have one on an 88 with a Getrag 282 and a modified 3800 SC Series III engine and it works well. I had Rodney double insulate the cable and it has been in use for several years without a problem. If the cables are the same length (and I assume they are knowing Rodney's thoroughness) I cannot see any reason why it would not work for your application.
