Does anyone know what starter will work with a 350 chevy and the 125 auto? I have the trans adapter, the flex plate adapter and mounts. The flex plate is a 42 tooth. I bought a new cradle and another 125 to overhaul, and want to mock everything up before I pull the drive train out of the car.

WHY are you using a 125 ? it'll never "Last" and will be terrible on gas. You would better to just use a 4t60, or 4t65 to begin with.

Will the Grand Prix starter not swap in with that block?

Thanks wicked! I believe that is exactly what I am looking for. Too bad they are over $200. Fierogt, The starter gets relocated to the other side of the 350 block and mounts to the trans adapter sideways so a oe style starter will not work. As far as my choice to use the 125 trans, It's simple, I have one, actually 2 of them. No need to change drive shafts and if you do your research you will see people have put 500+ hp to these with no problems. I have a Ferrari F355 body kit on this car and it will not be a daily driver. Parades, car shows, and an occasional car club cruse will be all this sees. But thanks for your concern lou6. Search my user name and I think there is a picture of it in primer. Thanks guys. Steve.
