When I bought this car it did not have the cables installed but came with 3 cables in boxes. I am finally getting around to installing them and found that 2 of the cables are the same. Is the front cable going to the e brake handle the same as the right side cable going to the caliper? This is an 88.

There are 3 different cables on the 88's.

The PS is the shorter one with two barrel ends.
The DS one is slightly longer and has the threaded end (and 1 barrel end).
The Chassis cable has a longer body than the other two and at least 1 barrel end (can't remember how it connects at the lever end).
