Ok,
Here's the deal.
I have 2 slave cylinders on my bench.
One measures out to 15/16" bore, the other is much smaller.
I don't remember where the smaller one came from only that it was out of a previous Fiero in my stable.
Can anyone tell me what the bore diam. is and what year/trans it is out of?
It is currently installed in one of our race cars with a short cast fork arm and custom bracket built to locate it lower on the tranny (Getrag).
We installed a new clutch and needed a bit more travel to make it work.
Looooong story there too.................
But I want to know what this slave is and where I can get a replacement.
It works fine but the bore is a bit rough in spots and I know it will be leaking soon.

A photo would make it easier to identify. Look at Rodney Dickman's site and compare it to the slave cylinders he has pictured. Isuzu and the 85-6 4-speeds are the same and have the studs attached and pointing at the engine. The Getrag slave is short and has no studs. The studs are on the mounting bracket. The 84 slave doesn't resemble either but has two vertical bolt holes for mounting.

I will try to get a pic of the one I need that is in the car.
But If anyone has info on the bore sizes for all the slaves that were available on the Fiero that would help.

I believe the Isuzus are all 13/16" bore and the Getrags are all 15/16" bore. I'm not sure about the Muncies. I know some were 13/16", but for some reason I believe there were some that were 15/16"...not sure what years or if I'm wrong on those. Of course I could be completely out to lunch

Getrag is the large one. Everything else is the smaller one. 84 is the small one also but the aluminum housing is 84 only.

Neils88, what is the part number that is obscured by the red circle?
That looks like the one.
If memory serves me I knocked out the studs to use it a long time ago.
I knew you guys would come through for me.

Thanks, Bob
