On my 85 2M4 5 speed all the gears shift fine except 5th, there is a slight grind shifting into 5th unless I shift really fast. I do know that my slave cylinder is not working well and I plan on replacing it with Rodneys but my question is: Since fifth gear is overdrive does it require more clutch movement, is that why there is no grind in the other gears?

Doesn't require more clutch travel, fix the hydraulics and bleed, if still grinds adjust linkage, if still grinds perhaps synronizers.
