84 Fiero clutch is locked up and won't go into R, 3, & 4. Help? by PribanicS

So this car has been siting around +/- 5 yrs and I want to get it running and shifting properly. The clutch is hard as a rock and the linkage appears to shift fine into neutral, 1st and 2nd. It's my grandfathers car and he has told me the car ran fine but eventually the clutch just wouldn't work anymore. He replaced the slave cylinder with no avail. If y'all can help it would be greatly appreciated.

shift cables out of alignment (specifically the select)?

There is a procedure that you can follow in the service manual to make sure the cables are setup correctly. Simplest and cheapest to do first.
