are the lobes on the cam offset from the lifters it looks like half the lobe is all that touches the lifter the vin # 8th digit is a 9 could this be the wrong cam any information on the stock and aftermarket cams lifters hyd and roller it has multiport injection and a 4 speed stick trans

Camshafts for flat-tappet lifters are made that way on purpose. It causes the lifter to rotate, to evenly distribute the wear on the lifter face.
