Looking for a nice wing to fit my testarosa rebody, if anyone out there who has dome one could post pics and inf I would be quite great full. Also looking for a roof scoop not a big fan of the double ones that attach at vents would like something in center that rums down to front center of deck lid so I can cut that section out to forse cool air to engine bay but decklid must still open., some kind of universal scoops that will fit nicely where quarter windows usually go, and anything really that will help change the appearance of the roof from top of doors/bootom of windows up because on the kit I have that part of the car is stock in appearance. I will post pictures when I get to my computer. I'm also looking for any infor I can get on the kit that is on my car, reviews, vender, ext.
It has a 355 nose with stock fenders, im also looking for a nice set of fender flares to widen the front to match the back, posibly even a set of 4 so i can go real wide in front and a little more out back. Not worries about them fitting up flush i have no problum triming the to fit body lines. Just need them with right opening size to match up with the car
Not to be an a$$ or anything, but could you please not call it a Testarossa rebody and maybe say it has Testarossa styling cues. Sorry, just a pet peeve of mine.
Wing: not sure, it would depend what you do with the over-all look. If you go "racer", then an aluminum wing might not be bad. Or maybe something similar to the Plazma that looks like a "T".
Flares: You might want to try an IMSA front to get the wider fenders, or if you want true flares, Amida might be able to make you some fronts, and Sage (and Fiero warehouse) just posted some 308 rear flares that may be adapted.
Vent: Try looking at the KR512, ort Koenig 512. It has some pretty aggressive side scoops on it.
Anyhow, good luck and keep us posted.

Ferrari really didnt see the need for wings, so I wouldnt be 'ricing' one up. My 308 like the real ones, only had a upturned lip and a little one over the rear window to help airflow. The only Ferraris usually with wings are their Challenge and professional race cars like Grand Am and Rolex. I even hate them on Lambos.

Just what i was thinking. There are guys here that have testarossa re-bodies and even kits that are available here that take a whole lotta time, money and effort. Not to criticize, but let's be fair.
I'm not going for a testarosa look on my finished project not even a Ferrari look. I agree with you on this piticular kit being called a rebody. I have no idea who designed the kit or built it and didn't want to offend anyone involved in its production.
Interestingly the Testarossa has aerodynamics that are similar to a Fiero except that with the Fiero, air enters the engine compartment from beneath and exits on the deck whereas in the Testarossa it enters from the sides and exits on the deck. In both cases, this eliminates the need for a wing unlike the Countach which was originally designed with nothing but styling in mind. Much like the on the Veyron they did the engineering after the styling not in parallel. Ferrari felt, as do I, that all of that stuff tacked onto the Countach to fix it was, well, tacky. The Testarossa was never the poster car of teenagers or meant to be, but rather it had more adult appeal. I doubt that any of this will effect your desire for a wing but you may at least find it interesting. I long ago removed the wing from my GT.
Wings are OK on F40s, and Mopar Daytonas & Superbirds. I never even liked all the stuck on trunk wings on Duster, Demon, Mustang, Cuda, Challenger and prob more im missing. My 72 Cuda had the factory tacked on black wing from the dealer. First week I had it home, I threw it away and filled the holes. Back then they werent worth $20, I sell it now. Whole brand new Cuda wasnt $3500.
I most likely won't be installing a wing just like to know my options. If anything a small fiberglass one molded to the decklid. I plan on posting more pictures so responders can get a better look at what I'm dealing with. My issue with the quarter windows is the person who installed the kit and owned it before me fiberglassed and bondoed over the slots in the body for the sail windows so Icant use ant of the aftermarket direct fit windows, and I will have to work in some nice universal scoops. My biggest concern right. Now is that from the top of doors/ bottom of windows up the car is completely stock in appearance where as every other panel on the car is aftermarket /non fiero. I'm not trying to make my car look like any specific car like in a " rebody" or "kitcar" I'm trying to make something unlike anything else out there. I like most fiero nutts have a few fieros and already have a stock one and a slightly modified one.
The top of this car just screams fiero and I want to modify it. Looking to see what other people out there have done to theirs. I love the look of the chop tops but I don't have the skills or resources to do it myself or the money to pay to have it done.
So basicly I'm looking for roof and rear clip modifications people have doneto inspire some ideas.
Also looking for info on the body. Where it came from? Who built it? Are parts still available ?
So far what the body consists of...
The "testarosa" kit consists of door skins, rear body clip (which replaces original rear clip and quarter scoops as one unit), side skirts, and a rear bumper.
Probly originally came with front bumper, I scraped the monstrosity of a bumper on it and used the f355 nose. Which actually matches up quite nice. I'm using stock hood with reverse scoop/vent ( probly going to go with "angel" scoop. ) flush mount headlights, stock fenders, I talk to amida a while back about making me a set of the flares he made for his fiero gt stretch concept, & a coustum light panel I'm currently working on for rear lights.
Pictures from when I first bought it, before swaping the nose over to the f355.
The front bumper was bonded to the fenders had to chizel the seams to unbolt it. It was made from a stock bumper and had well over a gallon of bondo on it to get the diserd shape they where going for. It was quite entertaining to see.
