Subaru WRX/Impreza vs Fiero Suspension by GTPatrick

Folks , correct if I'm wrong here but with the Fiero wheel studs being a 5x100 design and the Subaru WRX/Impreza wheel being a 5x100 design , I think but maybe wrong . Has anyone ever thought of investigating using the wheel hub from the wrx/impreza in place of the fiero wheel hub due to the fact that the wrx/I wheel hub bearings are stronger and have a large aftermarket for race competition/rallying than the fiero has or ever had ?

Any thoughts or opinions on this idea being doable or undoable ?

There are a few issues.

The WRX flange offset is higher, so the wheels will be pushed out further and could lead to brake fitment issues.
The mounting bolt pattern is 4 bolts vs. 3 so the upright will need some new holes machined.
The rear pilot diameter is larger, so the Fiero upright will need to be bored to accept it.
