Theres a 88 GT with AC at my local boneyard.
My 87 GT with AC needs a alternator.

My question,
If I grab the alt.and the connector from the 88.(and if the alt checks out to be OK).
How would I wire the old connector into the new one.

I seen a few diff wiring diagrams and im confused as crap...

I JUST had the same confusing situation, and it took me a day or two to figure it out. Then Ogre pointed me here

Rabid-Wombat's CS Alternator Conversion

It walks you right through it

Thanxs, Gonna use that to wire it up,and will order a new connector instead of the old one off the 88.

Can you tell a diff at low rpm or idle over the old alt.?
