One of the last things I need for my swap is the speedometer converter to make my speedometer work. Is anyone selling them. I know they are easy to make but I would rather just buy one. Thanks

If you can solder the circuit into your harness following some simple instructions, I can make the circuit for you.
Send me a PM if you are interested.

I just put one together for $hits and giggles at work.

I didn't have a 22K resistor so I used a 24K... Not sure how much of an impact (if any) this would have... I will get the actual 22K resistors for my final ones.. Then epoxy and shrink tube them into a small tab with 3 leeds.

I build them right into the harness at the C203 connector on my harnesses to make things easier. But yes they are very simple to make and cost very little for the components to make one. Dan

thought you can just change the CPPR, (calculated pulses per revolution) on the tune and your set? Fiero needed something lower than what a 4t65e puts out.

Yes you do have to sent the PCM for the correct PPM. You also have to use the 'buffer' circuit to convert the square wave output of the PCM into a sine wave for the Fiero speedo.

Are you talking about the PCM to speedo buffer? If yes - then third item down. - http://www.reddevilriver.com/Related_Products.html

Or are you talking about the VSS to PCM wire? I can supply either the weatherpack Fiero one (usually used when using the stock Fiero MT) or the metripack one (used on the 4T60E/4T65E/newer non-Fiero MTs)

I'm swapping in a 3800 with a 4t65e hd into a 87 fiero gt 2.8 5 speed. I need to install that wire in series with the vss wire then or elsewhere.

Yes if you are making your own harness. Usually is included on a pre made harness. On the harnesses I make I put them in the harness between the PCM and C203
