i have just recently purchased a 86 gt with a series 2 3800 swap. car needs an alignment so i was wondering if there are certian specs thati need to give to the alignment shop so that everything rides the way it should. any input or help from anyone would be greatly appricated. thanks
if you have stock suspension , your alignment shop can only align it to 86 gt specs .if they have a modern machine , they will have all the specs already .If they ask you for specs , take it some where else .the non stock engine does not dictate different alignment specs .
its mainly a street car ill probly takeit down the track a couple times just to see what it runs. but as for alignment in the rear what should the camber an toe be set at to ensure it pull straight when i really get on it
if you want straight line specs, run a bit positive static camber in the rear. Toe should still be slightly neg, I run stock toe rear, and almost 0-0 front toe.
