Regarding my '87 GT.
Just started up my '87 GT after the winter and my temperature gauge is vibrating very rapidly in all directions. It never shows the correct temperature even after just starting the engine.
Do I assume that the problem is the water temperature sensor in the engine block? If so, is it the sensor in the top right side of the block with one wire or the sensor in the right side of the block with the connector that has two wires? Both are a pain to get to in order to install a new part, so if you tell me the car is haunted that would be OK to:-)
Anyone ever have this same problem?

The sensor for the gauge is on the driver side (near the ignition coil).. There are 2 leads, one is for the idiot light. Many fieros have been re-wired because it seems these things never worked right from the factory.
