like the title said did you machine the crankshaft gear for the 3800 double roller here are the difference between stock ones and the double roller . ( third picture )
do you remove inside diameter of the double roller crank gear because its a tight fit on the crankshaft .

I think they are supposed to press on the crank, I think what was done is to bevel the back of the gear to clear the radius on the crank to allow the gear to seat up flush. Larry

just want to know how many did that vs how many put it like that and if anyone have problem with it

You need to look at the raidus at the rear of the snout on your crank and see if the relief cut in the crank sprocket will let the gear go back flush. If it doesn't then the chain will not run straight and will will try to pull the cam forward against the cam retainer plate. Larry
