I have a set of 33/37 sprockets and chain for a th125c, that I would like to use in a 440t4 transmission.

Does anyone know definitively whether they will work? I understand the differential can be swapped, but haven't read whether or not the drive/driven sprockets are common.

No go, the 4 speed has changes in the area that the sprocket rides on associated with the fourth gear from what I recall on tear down of both trannies some time ago.

125 chain sets won't work in 4Txx.

year of trans affects chain sets too... GM used wider/heavier chains in later years etc.
