I am replacing some of the ground and other wiring on my "87 GT. Unfortunately for some stupid reason when disconnecting the battery cables I did not pay attention to where the secondary leads on both the positive and negative leads go ? Can you guys give me some answers? For example, does the secondary lead on the negative battery wire just get grounded to a good grounding location or what?
The positive secondary lead goes to what or where?

Thanks

This being April first, I find it hard not to take advantage of your misfortune......but the results may not be a joke.

2.8's have the ground cable connected at the bank 2 end headbolt with the stud. The smaller wire usually attaches to the body either at the deck lid hinge or directly to the sheet metal beside the battery.

secondary positive.
