Ok I have a rough idea, but wanted a more clear picture. I've used the search option but only come up with gearing which I already know. I just wanted to know becuase I planned on signing up for 1 mile run just want to make sure I'm not going to be limited here

riding on 17 inch tires

I want to say

1st - 30
2nd - 60
3rd - 90
4th - 120?
5th - ?

You need to specify the outside diameter of your rear tires (or rear tire size) and the maximum RPM your engine can pull.

it obviously depends on your RPM, but at 5500 (assuming your engine can handle that), you're looking at values very close to these:

30
52
77
113
147

With your tires and 6000 RPM this would be the approximate maximum speeds
1st: 33.1
2nd: 56.5
3rd: 83.9
4th: 123.2
5th: 160.8
