I'm interested in updating my headliner but having some reservations on removing the T Top weatherstripping and keeping it in reusable shape.

Looking for some folks who have done this that could provide some advice. Thx

You don't remove the weatherstripping when taking out headliner.

From the books it looks like the weatherstripping has been removed prior. I guess the headliner just wiggles around the weatherstripping.

Once you remove the trim pieces and the two coat hooks (later years), the headliner just drops down. The t-top has the headliner material wrapped around the frame of the t-top, but that is separate from the weatherstripping.
