For about the last week my speedo in my 85 SE 2.8/auto has started making a little noise that sounds like a brushing sound. Today I noticed that my trip meter hasn't come off of 0 since I fueled it up over three days ago. It was making a tick noise after I hit the reset button again but I made the ticking noise go away after pressing it few more times but the brushing sound continues. The speedo still works as does the odometer but the trip meter stays at 0, any ideas?

Sounds like your odometer is broken. It's a mechanical device, it happens.

The odometer is a separable piece from the rest of the odometer. I have a box full of them so if you disassemble it I can sent you a replacement for the cost of shipping.
