Okay so I just replaced the EGR tube on my 1986 Pontiac Fiero SE, and now it is cold near where I am so the car was sitting outside for a little while, during that time my problem started happening, I will start my car and it will idle fine, but when I put it into gear and take the clutch out it won't stall, and to move the car I have to rev it high or it won't move, basically it is like there is no power. Any suggestion?

Welcome to the Forum!

The distributor is right in the way when you work on your EGR tube. Check to see if your spark plug wires are loose or the cap is loose. It sounds as though you are missing some sparks.

Forgive me if I'm wrong but wouldn't it not idle correctly if it were missing sparks? It does sound like a clutch issue. If the clutch is not fully engaging then the car wont move... revving it up to get it to move is just going to burn out the disc (if it's not completely shot already)
