In the process of removing the 2.8/cradle from my 87 GT. when unbolting the Ac and Fuel pump relays, I noticed, there's 5 wires going to 1, and 4 going to the other (from the "original engine harness". There is only 1 wire going to each relay from the New engine Harness ! Obviously something is not right ! What am I Failing to See ? HELP !!
a few of the wires actually run to the relay, and then go off to do something else using the 12V power, If I remember the FP relay has two orange wires, one of them gets routed to the oil pressure sensor to act as a backup in case you lose pressure (turns off FP). On the A/C I think its the green or blue wire. Not sure what it does. If you follow the wire diagram for the 87 you will see how each of them is routed.
i've built a few harness's and it makes sense when I have the wire diagram in front of me.
