Alright guys, I'm about to replace the front crossmember on my 87GT. Are all front crossmembers the same from 84-87? Also fierostore no longer carries these. Know any good places to find one. Mine ovaled out the upper arm holes. I do know a great welder but he probably wants 200 to fix it. I'm sure I can just replace it. Any ideas?

As far as I know, 85-87 are the same. 84's may be slightly different, but will bolt up.

I have on that I just pulled. It currently is sitting in my shed.
Do you need control arms? The ones attached to it have ball joints with about 10k miles and poly bushings.

this was off my own car that I parted due to rust on the frame rails. This was a replacement front cross member i put on my GT while I was in Germany.

It has drop spindles on it and 11.25 big brakes, but I also have the stock spindles that have the rotor machined for the big brakes too.

The poly bushings all have grease fittings installed so you'd never have to worry about them being squeaky.

Only reason i'm not using them is I now have an 88. So all parts that could be swapped over were.

I also have koni front shocks. The rears were installed on my 88.
