New-To-Restoration Stupid Question Time; are the lower reflectors located in the rear bumper supposed to light up/blink?

As always, thanks for your time. I've worked on Fieros before, but this time I am encountering some things I haven't faced before...

I believe they are just reflectors, no question is stupid. Enjoy your car.

TY, I'll have to get someone else to hit the brakes while I check it out. My daughter seemed to think the one on the right lit up.

Some owners replace the reflectors with back-up lights when the stock tail light assmbly is replaced with a modified tail light assmbly.

Well, I may not know a lot, but I know the tail light assy is in fact stock. Maybe the sunlight hit it and made it look lit somehow. Just means I only have to replace the reverse lights and a few sensors, and I'm rolling!

Thanks as always; you guys are the Mr. Miyagi of Fiero knowledge.

Yes, reflectors only.
Reflectors are required to make car "Street legal" too because Fiero taillights have no reflectors.

Stock theyre just reflectors. Pretty sure theyre held in by 2 sheet metal clips on the back from the factory. Some replace them with 2 sided tape after a paint job.
